I looked at my husbands toe nail today and it is swollen and the skin is peeling. It looks nasty but he won't go to the foot doctor any suggestions on what this could be or how I should treat it if he won't go in? It doesn't look like it is an ingrown toe nail but he doesn't take care of his feet.Husband has peeling skin around toe nail any suggestions?
Sounds like a fungus.
