get a bottle of glycerin at the pharmacy and put it on your fingers at bedtime every night, even after it heals.
you should use Pretty hands and feet in a blue bottle available at drug stores or wal mart. rub it in it removes all the dead skin and puts a coat on your hands to help them
If you can go to the sea go put your hands in there is will soon clear it up my daughter use to have the same problem then we went to the sea 2 days in a row and it went.
