it seems that when my nails get to be a certain length they start to flake and peel in layers until their so thin that they break easily. any one know why this is and what i can do to prevent them from flaking?Flaky, peeling finger nails? help?

I think it's a vitamin deficiency or low thyroid count or
you're using your nails as tools and this damages them. This could include scraping items, opening things, turning loose screws with them, or
you're using harsh chemicals on them, i.e. cleaning products, etc.
